Top Hill Lodge and Restaurant is family owned lodge, which is situated on the height of 2850m, the place called "MONJO".

This tourist lodge was established in the year 1990. Since then it has been providing quality service and warm hospitality to it's guests. This Lodge is owned by Mr. Pasang Dawa Sherpa and Domei Sherpa.

Pasang Dawa Sherpa has been involved in the tourism industry for more than 20 years. He had work in different Trekking Agencies and in all major trekking routes of Nepal.

We are with a short walking distance of the main entrance of Sagarmath National Park.

You will remember a unique experience of genuine Nepalese from our friendly staff as well as our homely atmosphere.

Short Notes on Acute Mountain Sickness:

Mountain Sickness can be deadly, if we don't care about them. There are various reasons of AMS. However, it is seems that excessive exertion at high altitute like carrying heavy pack and rapid ascending may predispose some people to altitue illness.

Acclimatization is needed to adjust your body in hight altitue places.Drinking plenty of purified water, not to ascend more than 300 meters per day of ascent above 3000 meters.more....>>

Sagarmatha National Park

Sagarmatha National Park lies to the northeast of Kathmandu. The park was gazetted in July 1976. It covers an area of 1,148 sq. km. of Himalayan ecological zone.

The park includes the upper catchment areas of the Dudh Kosi and Bhote Kosi Rivers. The park is largely composed of the rugged terrain and gorges of the high Himalayas ranging from 2,845m at Monju to the top of the world, Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest) at 8,848m above sea level. Other peaks above 6,000m are Lhotse, Cho-Oyu, Thamserku, Nuptse, Amadablam, and Pumori more......
